A letter from tim

Man, are we glad you found us!

At Elkins Cattle Company, we're deeply committed to sustainable and ethical ranching. Born out of a desire to contribute positively to the ranching industry in Texas, Elkins Cattle Co. takes pride in producing high-quality, grass-fed beef, while placing the well-being of our animals and the environment at the forefront of our operation. The land on which our company thrives was selected with utmost care, considering factors like fresh water availability, ample grazing space, and access to quality veterinary care.

Our ranch is a family endeavor. From our youngest, Olivia, who has grown up immersed in the daily operations to Christa and I, who lead the business, everyone plays a role. We care deeply for our herd, ensuring they have a balanced diet, lush pastures, and clean water, while also investing in their health. This dedication extends to our sustainable practices, which include rotational grazing and organic farming methods, always aiming to minimize our environmental impact.

Elkins Cattle Company is not just a business for us; it's a way of life. It's a celebration of the strong bonds we form with our community and fellow ranching families. When you choose to support us, you are not just getting the best tasting, flavorful grass-fed beef, but also investing in a relationship with passionate ranchers who place care and expertise into every cut. Your support validates our dedication to agriculture, animal welfare, and sustainability. Our story is one of perseverance, love for the land, and the cattle we raise.

We are a family first, doing what we love daily regardless of distractions. Our wish is that you join our family on our journey to preserve a way of life that values community and hard work, but also brings satisfaction every time you sit at the table to enjoy life’s most often overlooked pastime, a family dinner.

All the best,
