We are a family-owned and operated farm that has spent the past decade raising our own USDA Prime, grass-fed and finished, dry-aged beef with the highest standards of quality and care. At Elkins Cattle Co, we have spent over a decade breeding cattle to create the ultimate Black Angus genetics. Angus beef is known for its marbling, consistency, and juicy flavor. Our beef is graded USDA Prime based on its quality and superior meat standards.
All of our cattle are born, raised, grazed, and harvested in the USA in the great city of Lampasas, Texas on free range pastures.
Unlike grocery store alternatives, our beef is all natural. We do not use hormones, steroids, or mRNA’s on our animals harvested for sale. Our family is passionate about fighting the flaws of mass meat production within the USA.
All of our beef is dry aged for a minimum of 15 days. Dry aging beef allows moisture to evaporate from the meat resulting in countless benefits including more concentrated flavor and improved tenderness.
