Also known as the hanging tender, hanger steak is cut from a single muscle near the diaphragm. There is only one per animal, making it a limited and sought-after cut.
Hanger steak is known for its open grain, deep beef flavor, and natural tenderness, offering a more robust taste than skirt steak while remaining juicy and satisfying. Because every animal is unique, size and shape may vary slightly.

Cooking Tips
Hanger steak performs best cooked hot and fast. Grill or pan-sear in a cast iron skillet over high heat to develop a deep crust while keeping the interior juicy.
Allow the steak to rest briefly, then slice against the grain to ensure tenderness. Excellent served simply, or paired with chimichurri, pan sauce, or classic steak accompaniments.

Our family ships out orders every Tuesday. The order cut off date for same week delivery is the Monday before noon CT.
We use UPS for all deliveries. Our beef is shipped using either 1 or 2 day shipping to ensure it stays frozen.
Tracking: You will receive an email with tracking once your box is scanned and gets on the first truck.

How do we ship your beef?
Every cut is vacuum-sealed, flash-frozen, and packed with dry ice in an insulated box to ensure it arrives fresh. Our packaging is designed for long-term freezer storage and easy organization. Just pop it in the freezer when it arrives and thaw when you're ready to cook.
