Use & Care

Apply sparingly to clean, dry skin. Can be used on the face or as a whole body moisturizer. We suggest starting with a pea size amount for your face!

Please note our whipped tallows are not made for cooking purposes.

Store your tallow in a cool, dry area out of any direct sunlight. Since we do not use any harsh preservatives or stabilizers, take care to avoid getting water in the jar.

IS IT SAFE TO USE ON SENSITIVE SKIN?

Yes, due to its natural and gentle nature, tallow is a wonderful choice for sensitive skin. It’s free of any harsh chemicals, fragrances, and dyes that may irritate the skin. The fatty acids and antioxidants naturally-occurring in tallow help soothe irritated and inflamed skin.

WILL TALLOW MAKE MY SKIN SMELL LIKE BEEF?

This question makes us laugh!

Due to its all-natural state, tallow does have a very faint beefy scent. We don’t play around with harsh fragrances or preservatives, so you may be able to smell it’s natural aroma. However, the scent is not strong enough to transfer to the skin and last long.

Our Unscented formula is the only balm you can truly tell! (But is also our favorite)

WHAT CAN I USE TALLOW BALM FOR?

Our whipped tallow balms are not made for cooking. With tallow’s natural & healing ingredients, it is a very versatile product. Tallow balm works wonders on dry skin, dry lips, acne, wrinkles, eczema, psoriasis, sun burns, sketch marks, minor scrapes and scratches, razor burns, skin irritations and so much more.

WILL MY TALLOW GO BAD?

Tallow can last up to 6 months at room temperature and up to one year stored in the refrigerator and if handled with care. Our product does not contain any preservatives or stabilizers, so take care to avoid getting water inside the jar as it can lead to bacteria growth. Avoid leaving your jar in direct sunlight.
